About me
My name is Tamir Shabat was born in Haifa, Israel, and I am the father of three daughters.
I have a global business career of over 25 years. As a Finance and Legal Vice President at Tuborg Romania. Prior to this, I was a CEO & Chairman of PepsiCo in Bulgaria for 9 years and I was a CFO in a global software company located in Israel.
As a consultant, I used to work with a start-up located in Oxford, UK providing a solution for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry based on AI technology. I also used to work in a private equity fund in Pennsylvania, USA in the industry of oil and gas.
As a lawyer and Certified Public Accountant, my educational background includes a Strategy and Innovation program at Oxford University, MBA, LLM and LLB from Israeli universities.
In the middle of my business career, somewhere in my forties, I’ve gone through a change. All that was stable and solid and considered to be my reality for more than 20 years – family, career, fatherhood, relations – was now facing a powerful change. It was this crisis that made me enter a transformation journey of which I discovered the new me.
During my journey, I went through many kinds of emotions. And I was facing many of them for the first time in my life. In order to get stronger, I went through a totally new area of experience for me which I was not aware of, this included NLP, Zen psychology , Mediation Leadership, and Coaching with programs from Erickson Coaching International, as well as a leading Israeli school – GOME and NLP Plus.
Transformation enlightenment happened to me in a workshop about my relationship with myself while an image of a child who looked with hope directly in my eyes appeared on a big screen. I saw through this kid eyes something which inspired me. I thought “He knows something and will show me the way”. This opened my heart and was a feeling that I will never be able forget.
I was reborn. Suddenly, I learned to explore the world through a new way that was new for me. At a later stage, through my journey, I discovered a different metaphor that best described this complex process – the phoenix metaphor.
Being passionate to share the experience that supported me, I continued to explore, through my clients, transformation in all aspects of life. Therefore, my mottos are “If you can dream it, you can do it” (Walt Disney) and “Let me fall if I must fall the one, I’ll become will catch me.” (Baal Shem Tov)
My goal is to bring into business transformational leadership and combine both worlds. I believe this can bring great results not only for the business but for humankind to have fruiful life with inner peace.
